LETS TALK PREP!
do's
-
grow out hair for 1.5 - 2 weeks before first wax
-
exfoliate 24 hours before or day of your appointment. physical exfoliation is best! scrubs, brushes, mits, etc. (no, your loofa isn't exfoliating)
-
hydrate! make sure to drink plenty of water. being dehydrated makes your wax more painful
DONT'S
-
Absolutely no shaving the area being waxed

24 hours before & day of try to avoid alcohol and marijuana (these substances and cause your wax to be more painful because of dehydration. these substances can also cause swelling, bruising & or bleeding)

do not use numbing creams & pain medication (does not take away pain of waxing and can cause bruising, bleeding, swelling, etc.)
-
no trimming, the hairs may look too long but I promise they are not! (the longer the better for waxing. if trimming is needed, your waxer will do so for you to ensure too much hair isn't taken off)

wash your face day of. you cannot get your lashes or brows wet for 24 hours post service

remove or do not wear makeup on the lashes or brows day of (for best results this is much appreciated, the cleansers used before do not remove all makeup and will speed up the process)
